The ceiling brushing is an accessory that is part of our Double Wall range, within our ROS CHIMNEYS catalog.
It has a female Double Wall connection (with 25mm rock wool insulation) at the top, and a male Single Wall connection at the bottom.
While the pipe exiting the stove can operate without insulation to take advantage of the heat from the flue gases flowing through it in the room, it is mandatory to change to a double wall pipe before passing through a slab. The ceiling brushing is ideal for making this change. The top side allows you to continue connecting double wall pipes, while the bottom side, the connection to the single wall pipe, allows you to square both connections and even allows you to move the single pipe inside the ceiling brushing to dismantle the installation later. We invite you to consult the drawing that accompanies this article to see what we mean.
What uses and benefits does it have?
1. It is perfect to have as a standby pipe during construction or renovations. That is, it can be installed before the complete and final installation of the boiler/stove flue gas evacuation system.
2. The lower end adapts to various models of single wall pipes, such as stainless steel or vitrified.
3. It allows the pipes to be removed from the rest of the installation to clean it of soot without having to install an inspection module, achieving a more aesthetically pleasing finish.
